Rumor: Taylor Swift, Harry Styles Performing at VS Fashion Show

Taylor Swift might never ever get back together with Harry Styles... except maybe to perform at the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai next month.

Rumor has it that the pop star will reunite with her ex and former One Directioner for the big musical act of the show, which will be held in Shanghai for the first time ever in November. If true, it would be one of the few times the two appear together in public since they broke up way back in 2012.

At the moment it is still unclear if the "Old Taylor" will be making it to Shanghai (she was reported to have died earlier this year upon the release of "Look What You Made Me Do").

So how did these rumors of Haylor's Shanghai reunion get started in the first place? Late last week, some sleuthing Swift fans (otherwise known as "Swifties") uncovered a press release from the Shanghai Culture, Radio, Film and Television Administration Bureau announcing that "Taylor Alison Swift" and "Harry Edward Styles" had been issued administrative licenses to perform in Shanghai on November 20. The license allows them to perform four songs.

What a coincidence, then, that Haylor's gig is supposed to take place roughly around the same time the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show goes down!

It should be noted that show won't be broadcast until November 28. But it's common to be taped in advance, in which case a November 20 performance date would still make sense.

Naturally, fans (mostly Swifties) are freaking out on social media. 

If the rumors are indeed true, this would be Swift's third time singing at the fashion show. In 2013 and 2014, she appeared on stage wearing lingerie while belting out classic songs like “I Knew You Were Trouble" and “Style” (both rumored to be about Styles himself).

It would also be her third time playing in China, following hugely successful stops in the 'Hai for her Red and 1989 tours, the former having sold out in under a minute and the latter selling out three shows.

Meanwhile, it would be Style's first time playing at the fashion show, as well as in Mainland China. (He performed with One Direction for a sold out Hong Kong show in March 2015).

Styles, who gossip blogs are saying is currently dating Victoria's Secret model Camille Rowe, might be in for an even more awkward night if his other ex Kendall Jenner (of Kardashian family fame) makes an appearance on the runway.

Of course these are all rumors, and Victoria's Secret has not yet confirmed the final line-up.

Ticket details are also scant, though if you're feeling lucky/desperate you can try shelling out for these RMB90,000 ones for sale on Taobao*.
